Jennifer Steen

Jennifer is the Highway and Local Roads BIM Direct at HDR and is responsible for developing a US Transportation strategy focused on Digital Delivery through the use of technology and culture change. Her experience includes digital project delivery in the area of Building Information Modeling (BIM) for civil infrastructure. In this role, she has has developed guidance and policy documents for State DOT’s advancing their maturity with digital delivery.
Jennifer's previous roles include National Digital Project Delivery Practice Lead and Senior Civil Highway Engineer. She has participated in various highway and construction projects involving 3D model deliverables and design visualizations for state agencies across the US. She is also experienced in the development of roadway designs and the preparation of contract models and plans for a variety of highway and transit projects. Jennifer served as Project and Deputy Project Manager on design projects, civil design and model task lead, and overall project coordination.
