Technical Projects Director Group Engineering & Technology, TITAN Cement Company S.A.

Philippos Skokos joined Titan Cement Group in 2007. In November 2018 he assumed the role of Titan’s Technical Projects Director in Group Engineering & Technology. Before this position, Philippos was the Head of Civil Engineering Department and contributed substantially along with other key managers of the department towards the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in the design and execution process of Titan’s projects.

During his career in Titan he also served as a project manager for the complete roll-out of solid fuel projects in Egypt (from conceptual design to commissioning) where he gained his experience in a broader range of disciplines such as mechanical / electrical engineering and automation.

Recently, Titan and the Technical Projects Department, completed successfully a significant investment at Kamari cement plant for the upgrade of the production line to increase the usage of alternative fuels. The project was fully implemented, from conceptual design to commissioning, according to the BIM workflow.

Before Titan, Philippos spent 12 years in AMTE, a reputable consulting engineering company based in Greece, specialized in cement production infrastructure, power plants, transportation infrastructure and industrial projects, serving as a structural designer, project manager and key customers account manager. Through this position, he gained significant experience in projects related to the cement industry.

He received an MBA from Athens Laboratory of Business Administration (ALBA) in 2004. His first degree is Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (1995).
